Normal people's bottom line....

There's normal peoples' bottom line.  And then there's mine.  Wayyyyyyy down there.

Perfect example:  A friend tells us about a weekend of debauchery where 12 couple went on vacation together and one dude got drunk and it came out that he was a swinger and he went streaking...yada yada yada.  She's going on and on about all the Tom Foolery and I'm waiting for the story to get good.  She finishes and says, "can you BELIEVE that?"
and I'm like: what's the big deal"
Her:   He rubbed his naked body on me
Me: Yeah, but in his defense, you totally had clothes on.  And you were karaoking.
Her: (crickets)

....So, it was that night that I realized my level of standards are much (much) lower than normal people's level of standards.

Another perfect example.  My other friend both have Netflix accounts.  Whenever I get a dandy, I send it along to her and vice versa.   You understand.

We receive our movies based on our personal selections and/or Netlix's suggestions.  Melissa's account suggests movies such as, Dirty Dancing and Father of the Bride.  My account, on the other hand suggests movies like, "Catfish" and "Stevie".  If you have a Netflix account, I suggest you watch them.  If not, just google the movie and read it's general content. You'll see.  These are the types of movies that interest me.  I find some real gems. too, as you can imagine.

So, that's my story about how my standards are lower than everyone else's.  Not about everything.  Just where it pertains to scruples.
