demographics
Certain television show time slots can evoke certain commercials. For example: if you watch game shows late morning/early afternoon, you might be well acquainted with the Ross Business School commercial (also known as the get-off-yo-dumb-ass-and-call-the-number-listed-below-to-better-yourself). If you watch TLC at any time of day, you'll most likely see commercials for Pampers and Gerber.
Then riddle me this? What the hell am I watching if the only commercials that are beaten into my head are for Guardasil (HPV vaccination) and the Plan B. pill (which, personally, would be my plan A but that's besides the point). Seriously? I must watch some sad, sad television for me to fall into this particular demographic. Which only confirms that I am as big a loser as I originally suspected!
Loser or not, I feel that my love for bad television has allowed me to be better plugged in to society. And by society, I mean Real Housewives of Orange County, Beverly Hills, Atlanta, New York and New Jersey.
*and before everyone goes mental that I'm advocating the Plan B birth control pill, zip it. It's not the abortion pill. It only prevents pregnancy from happening, it doesn't terminate. Settle down.
